Covers Bridal Couture is located at Choorstraat 25 in the heart of Utrecht city centre. The shop is easily accessible by both public transport and car. You can park your car in the nearby Springweg car park, enter Strosteeg on your GPS and follow the Springweggarage sign.
New brides, coming to our shop for the first time, are allowed to bring 4 guests.
Brides who have already bought a dress and are coming for their first fitting appointment may bring 2 guests.
At Covers Bridal Couture, we work by appointment only. Our stylists take extensive time for each bride to ensure she feels secure and has an unforgettable day. Want to make an appointment right away? By ticking off a number of characteristics that the wedding dress of your dreams should meet, you will be shown a wide selection of matching dresses. Of course, we advise you to really try on the dress for the best experience. The stylists give appropriate advice so that together you arrive at the perfect match!
Our 'made to order' dresses cost between €2,000 and €4,500. On our designer page, you can also view wedding dresses by brand. That way you know exactly which brands are within your budget.
We recommend starting your dress search 12 months before your wedding, and buying the dress at least 9 months before the wedding starts.
At Covers Bridal Couture, an appointment lasts 2 hours. This gives us enough time to get to know you a little better, give personal advice and arrive at 'the wedding dress' together.
We always schedule 1 hour for a first fitting.
We advise you to wear skin-coloured seamless lingerie. It is the least visible under the dresses. As it is important that we order your dress in the right length size, it is useful if you know in advance whether you will wear flat shoes or heels on your wedding day. Even better, bring your wedding shoes with you if you already have them. We would like to stress that it is important to wear neutral, or no make-up, to keep our dresses clean.
Once you have chosen your dress you make a deposit of 50%, at the first fitting appointment the next 40% and last 10% you pay when you come to pick up your dress and it fits perfectly.
It is possible to pay by pin, cash or credit card. We do not accept American Express.
We always work with Puress for wedding dress cleaning. They will pick up your dress and return it neatly after cleaning. They also make sure that every sequin, bead or embroidery remains intact and that the fabric does not shrink. Should your dress be slightly damaged after the wedding, they will repair these minor damages for you free of charge.
Check out our designers in advance so you know what styles are available in the shop and what you like. You can also create a Pinterest board and show it to the stylist.
