Your wedding day is a day you've been looking forward to for years. Finally, you get to shine in the wedding dress of your dreams! Picking out a wedding dress is no mean feat, as Alexandra Covers knows better than anyone.

Alexandra is a true professional and grew up among bridal gowns, so styling brides is in her blood. Covers Couture has been in business for more than 65 years. Alexandra took over the business from her parents in 1991, so she has been in the business for more than 30 years(!).

These days, Alexandra works with her daughter Viviënne, who recently joined the family business. Together with Delia, they form a close-knit team and are on hand daily to guide brides-to-be in finding the perfect dress.

Besides her work, Alexandra thoroughly enjoys her granddaughter and, together with her husband Hans, taking long walks through the woods with their dog Pien.

Tessa is an honest and open person. She gets excited about looking for your dream dress together. Your wedding day is one of the most beautiful days of your life. She is therefore thrilled to be able to contribute to this day. From an early age, she has always been involved with fashion and has a passion for styling. With her smooth chat, she makes everyone feel welcome and heard.

In her spare time, she is into taking pretty pictures, designing posters or drawing with a good audiobook on. She is very creative and can express herself well in this.

She herself is not yet married but these future plans are definitely there! For now, she lives happily with her boyfriend and cat. When she gets married herself, she trusts her colleagues to find the perfect dress for her!

After 35 years of experience in sales and styling in the world of women's fashion, Marie-Louise has found a new vocation and challenge. She is proud to call herself a Covers stylist!

Each wedding dress is a work of art in itself, as unique as our brides. It is a privilege to be able to make a difference at such a special moment in someone's life. With her enthusiasm, creativity, empathy and styling experience, she puts brides at ease.

"As a stylist, I am looking for you because your dress reflects who you are. That's why the dress touches you-because you recognise yourself."

Besides her passion for bridal fashion, she is into clothing and interior styling, painting, coaching, holistic therapy and Reiki. She enjoys long walks with her lovely partner Rolf.

They are not married yet... but who knows what the future holds! Together, they have five children, their partners and one grandchild, Rosie.

Marjam is mother to Bob Alfred and lives wonderfully in the Betuwe, among dykes, water and lots of greenery. This is also where she has her studio where she works on her paintings several days a week.

She also uses that love of aesthetics and design as a stylist, to find the wedding dress that highlights the individuality and beauty of her brides.

Marjam finds it a lot of fun and a privilege to help her brides in that search and in doing so, she finds it very important that every bride feels at ease!

She herself gets very happy when for a bride everything falls together and the bride feels beautiful, powerful and relaxed in her dress, for that special day, where love and life are celebrated.

Besides her work as a stylist and designer, Marjam loves to be in nature, loves good food, music and socialising with everyone she loves!

Viviënne, the daughter of Alexandra Covers, grew up among bridal gowns, her grandmother and mother as her constant companions. Her love for bridal fashion was awakened early on and in 2023 she decided to join the business herself, inspired by her family history.
While she herself is getting married in March 2024, Viviënne understands better than anyone the emotions and hustle and bustle involved in planning a wedding. She cherishes the privilege of being part of someone's big day and strives to make our brides feel comfortable with her warm personality, sense of humour and empathy. Outside of her passion for bridal fashion, Viviënne loves dogs and enjoys precious moments with friends and family. "Memories are made together," she often says, which explains why she has a special connection with weddings, big and small.

Delia is mother to Maarten, Marleen and (bonus) son Glenn. She also has 2 fantastic grandchildren with the 3rd on the way! Delia has been working for Covers for almost 17 years and is Alexandra's right hand (and left hand). Since Viviënne, Alexandra's daughter, also works in the business, they have grown into a close-knit threesome!
Delia was married many years ago in a minimalist gown by designer Rosa Clara, made of crepe with v-neckline, cap sleeve and a beautiful elegant slit.

Delia ensures that the team is motivated, full of passion and enthusiasm for brides. She enjoys listening to the bride's wishes. As manager, Delia, Alexandra and Viviënne also take care of the purchasing of new collections, something she really enjoys doing! Every year it is a treat to see what new collections and trends are presented by the designers. Fortunately, there is plenty of room for this at Covers, so brides can be assured of the most beautiful collections and the latest trends.

Dear Melanie is the proud mother of Selina. She is incredibly sweet, sincere, has angelic patience and so takes all the time she needs for her brides. Nothing is too much for her 🥰🥰

Melanie herself got married in a beautiful dress by Eva Lendel! She left picking out her wedding dress to 'the experts' her colleagues.

For her brides, she pulls out all the stops to make them feel special and fantastically beautiful, all ready for their big day! Melanie is also part of the Social Media team and is always coming up with great new ideas.

She has been making brides happy for many years and many more to come! Melanie celebrates life and turns so many moments into a party! With that, her family and daughter Selina are her number one priority.

Busy bee Natalie is mother to a son Tijs and enjoys working as a stylist at Covers. She is not married but has been with the love of her life for a long time.

Natalie is probably the most energetic and organised person behind the scenes, where she provides structure and order.
One of her best traits is that she is over-enthusiastic and she loves advising brides in the search for their dream dress!

She also has a tailoring background, so she can always pitch in at our Atelier. She supports where help is needed most and she never sits still.

Natalie loves a cosy dinner or drinks with friends. She is the biggest fan of her son Tijs, whom she lovingly takes to all his bowling matches.

Bertina is both a stylist and cutter and the longest-serving stylist at Covers. She is mother of two children, Delano and sharon, and proud grandmother of two granddaughters.

She got married in an off-shoulder Sisi dress she made herself, which was very trendy when she got married!

Bertina started as a seamstress when she was 22 years old, at that time mainly selling only fabrics. She later made the transition from fabric shop to a licensed bridal shop. Alexandra Covers is the second generation where she
works for.

When she is not at work, she prefers to spend as much time as possible with her family, or in the kitchen where she can spend hours cooking for her friends.

Annelot enthusiastically helps every bride in the search for the perfect dress. She is cheerful, sincere and very happy to think along with the bride. With her positive energy, down-to-earth mentality and empathetic approach, she makes every fitting session a party!

Behind the scenes, Annelot is always busy too. Together with Alexandra, she makes sure all dresses arrive on time, has a lot of contact with all our designers, and is active in the social media team.

She herself is not yet married, but designers like Love Story and Eva Lendel appeal to her in particular because of their minimalist style with a modern twist, but she also loves the more bohemian look.

Annelot hopes to make brides happy at Covers for many years to come!

Britt has always had a passion for clothes and styling. Even as a child, she styled her mother with an eye for detail, highlighting her perfectionism. She has turned her passion into a career in the fashion industry and is thus right at home at Covers. For her, there is nothing better than celebrating love with her favourite persons. Although she hasn't found her "person" yet, her friends, and her dog Nacho also give her lots of love!

Britt is a busy bee and a feeling person. She is positive, creative and driven, with a great love for food. In her spare time, she bakes, cooks, photographs, writes and dances salsa.

Every year, she takes solo trips with her backpack; Tokyo is currently her favourite destination, but she hopes to see a lot more of the world.
